There are certain kinds of Rudraksha available. It is categorized based on the number of faces present in the Rudraksha beads. These faces are also called mukhi or furrows.

The seed Rudraksha is found in the Himalayan foothills of south Asia and other south East Asian countries. This subtropical tree bears beautiful white flowers. Used by the Hindus, it holds a lot of significance for the devotees. Some prayers and rituals are incomplete without it. The seeds are madeinto a chain for wearing around the neck and it is also used for counting names of the lord during prayer. Origin myth
